EXPERIENCE THE QUIET
PRECISION OF SEVRAINE

Classic lines  |  Considered proportion  |  Hand finishing

Every SEVRAINE gown is cut to order. Nothing leaves the workroom in a standard size, and nothing is finished before the final fitting. Silk is rested on the stand for three weeks so the bias settles before a hem is marked, and the last press is done by hand the week of the wedding.

WHAT THE ATELIER OFFERS

01

Made-to-order

A gown from the current collection, cut to your measurements in your chosen silk or lace. Three fittings, sixteen to twenty weeks from first appointment.

02

Bespoke commission

An original design drawn for one wearer, developed through a calico toile before any silk is cut. Five fittings, nine months from the first consultation.

From £6,800

03

Fittings & alterations

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

Bride photographed beside tall arched windows
The third fitting was the one that mattered. Two millimetres came off the left shoulder and the whole bodice sat differently for the rest of the day.

Made-to-order, Aveline · Kensington, 2025

Bride in a corded lace gown standing in a panelled hallway
I brought my mother's 1987 dress and expected to be told no. They took the lace off it and used it across the back of a new bodice instead.

Bespoke commission · Edinburgh, 2025

Bride standing in a doorway in a full-length gown
Nine months sounded excessive until the toile stage, when the neckline changed three times and none of it cost me a length of silk.

Bespoke commission · Marylebone, 2024
